UX Design for Study Course

Study Project

Persona

The goal of the project was to get ideas how to improve Laurea’s UX course. The main question was, how to make the course more beneficial for students?

Project included user research, data analysis, empathizing with users, definition of users’ problems and ideation for solutions.

This was a group assignment with four students. We worked as a team and divided work equally. I was responsible for user research, creating two personas, user stories and problem statements and to ideate using Crazy 8’s method. Here I will present only the parts of our work that I have done.

By interviewing students, we gained good insights of their needs and wishes. Based on the research data, we created personas, user stories and problem statements.

In the ideation phase, we came up with the solutions that could benefit students attending the course in the future. We used Crazy 8’s method to sketch ideas and chose three best solutions.
